Terra Nova Testing
The weather is warming up and SPRING is upon us!!
It was great to see you all on Monday for Conferences -- I am proud of our students for taking control of their learning and I was excited to listen to them tell you, the parents, all about what they are learning!
A look at next week....
TERRA-NOVA TESTING!
We will have Terra Nova Testing on Wednesday through Friday morning until lunch. These tests are just one small measure of their knowledge and I want them to just try their best!
On Wednesday we will take Reading, Spelling, Language, and Word Analysis.
On Thursday we will take Bible, Vocabulary, and Math.
On Friday we will take Language Mechanics, Science, Math Composition, Social Studies.
We will have normal schedule Monday/Tuesday, and we will still have Japanese on Wednesday/Friday afternoons.
** Students can bring in healthy snacks to eat in-between tests (examples: fruit, veggies, sembei, cheese, crackers, etc.)
** Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep everyday and make sure they are not late to school; we will start the test first thing in the morning.
No spelling words this week
Bible Memory Verse: Same as last week..this is a long passage so the students have until the end of this upcoming week to say this verse to me!

3/24 -- 3rd Quarter Ends (TODAY)
3/27 -- 4th Quarter Begins
3/29-31 -- Achievement Testing (grades 1-8)
*** Terra Nova Testing
March 29-31 is our Terra Nova Testing. Please make sure your child is at school these days. This test is just one way to evaluate their learning. The testing will take place each morning until lunch time.
3/31 -- Report Cards Sent Home
4/3-7 -- SPRING BREAK! (no school)
4/14 -- Early (12:30) dismissal for students
4/28 -- Elementary Field Day
