October 11-14
This week we've continued working on our personal narratives (writing) and started Chapter 3 on Subtraction (math). We finished up our units on Rivers (social studies) and our unit on Plants (science).
Tuesday was my mom's birthday -- so we decided make a happy birthday video to her. The kids did a great job of singing to her & she told me it made her day!

Walk-a-Thon --- The kids are bringing home information today about the Walk-a-Thon. This is a great opportunity to help support OCSI and its wonderful role in the community.
October 21 - 1st Quarter ends
November 4 - 3rd grade trip to Okinawa World (more information to come)
