No school Monday!

Reminder: Monday is an American holiday, Labor Day, and so there is NO SCHOOL Monday -- we will see the students Tuesday.

Wow what another great week of learning in 3.1!!

We've been working on our reading stamina --- meaning we are building up to where we can read for 20 minutes with these things in mind; staying in one spot, reading quietly / no interruptions.

In writing we looked at how we can write with more detail.

In math we are reviewing comparing numbers, ordering numbers and expressing numbers.

In science we have been learning about the water cycle and how important water is in our lives -- small test/quiz coming up next week! We have been doing some fun water experiments....making a cloud in a jar and recreating the water cycle in a bag.

It was also Miss Madeline's birthday yesterday! So the kids made her a sign :)
