This is my first year teaching at OCSI. I am from a small city called Kalamazoo, in the state of Michigan. I just graduated from Hope College, also in the state of Michigan. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister -- I ended up in the middle, the 3rd child. I am currently single. This is my first time in Japan and I love it here in Okinawa...where I'm from I see a lot of snow and it gets very cold. I love being active; playing sports (my favorite is soccer), going for hikes, swimming at the beach. I also love reading, exploring, eating food (especially ice cream) and spending time with friends and family.
